On July 22, LONGi Green Energy announced the signing of a major cooperation agreement with global energy company RWE to deploy a large-scale centralized photovoltaic and battery energy storage project on the island of Sicily, Italy. Configured with approximately 300 MWh of 4-hour storage capacity, the project will adopt LONGi's flagship centralized energy storage solution, LONGiBank 2.0 6.25 MWh, and will be connected to the local grid upon completion. It is among the first major energy storage orders LONGi has secured in Europe since acquiring Jingkong Energy at the end of last year.
