Sungrow Secures Another Major Energy Storage Order Worth 1.32GWh

On June 16, Sungrow announced that it has recently signed a framework agreement with Nuveen Infrastructure, a global infrastructure investment manager, to deploy 1.32GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across renewable energy projects developed by Nuveen's portfolio companies, including Verdian.

Under the agreement, Sungrow will supply 302 units of its PowerTitan 2.0 energy storage system, along with 77 integrated Medium Voltage Stations (MVS).

PowerTitan 2.0 is Sungrow's utility-scale energy storage solution designed to store and dispatch energy on demand, helping improve the flexibility, reliability, and stability of renewable energy installations.

In addition to hardware supply, the contract includes a comprehensive Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA), featuring a 98% system availability guarantee, extended warranties for key components, annual preventive maintenance services, and 24/7 operational support.

The agreement further strengthens Sungrow's position in the global utility-scale energy storage market and highlights growing demand for integrated energy storage solutions supporting renewable energy deployment.
