ESIE | 2027 30GWh Storage PACK Integration Factory Commissioned! Aiming at AIDC and Smart Microgrids to Build High-End Storage Equipment

On September 21, the 30GWh storage PACK integrated smart manufacturing base of Jiangsu Guofeng Yuanchu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Guofeng Yuanchu”), a subsidiary of Shenzhen Yichu Shuzhi Energy Group Co., Ltd. (“Yichu Shuzhi”), officially entered production in Suqian, Jiangsu.

This Industry 4.0 benchmark storage super factory sets new standards for production precision and delivery efficiency in domestic storage system integration, and marks the full implementation of Yichu Shuzhi’s strategy of full-stack in-house R&D, full-lifecycle operation, and global delivery.

At the event, the group released three core innovations: the industry-first full-chain 5S product R&D system, the AIDC Source-Grid-Load-Storage-Computing Full-Chain Energy Solution White Paper, and the Smart Microgrid All-Scenario Solution White Paper — reinforcing the core competitiveness of China’s storage industry going global with hardcore digital-intelligence technology.

01 Three Strategic Leaps

Shi Jiao, chairman and general manager of Yichu Shuzhi Energy Group, delivered the keynote address. Shi Jiao said the Suqian Industry 4.0 super smart manufacturing base is the core carrier of the group’s new quality productive forces, and a high-end storage system manufacturing hub and global delivery platform rooted in East China, radiating nationwide, and linking the globe. The base will achieve three strategic leaps: reshaping industry quality benchmarks with extreme smart manufacturing, providing safe, long-life, high-value integrated storage solutions for grid storage, AIDC computing storage, and global new energy scenarios; leading energy industry iteration with hardcore sci-tech innovation, continuously breaking through frontier digital-intelligence technologies; and driving global expansion with top talent — deepening core domestic markets, expanding the overseas footprint, and building a world-class storage brand with full-lifecycle value capability.

02 Operational Strength: 17 Power Stations, 9.7GWh

Feng Zhuoluo, vice president of Yichu Shuzhi, presented the group’s accumulated operational strength from long-term station operation practice.

To date, Yichu Shuzhi has 17 grid-connected operating stations covering more than ten provinces and regions, with total operating capacity of 9.7GWh; comprehensive station loop efficiency stably exceeds 86%, equipment availability surpasses 99.5%, and the comprehensive frequency regulation performance K value holds steady above 2.99, repeatedly topping revenue rankings in provincial power markets including Ningxia, Hebei, Jiangsu, and Yunnan.

As a pioneer in domestic storage integration, Guofeng Yuanchu is the first to feed massive real-world station operation data back into R&D and manufacturing in real time. Drawing on years of frontline station operation experience, the team is deeply versed in stringent grid dispatch standards; through self-developed thermal control algorithms that extend cell life and iterative topology structures that reduce energy losses, every product delivered is naturally suited to grid dispatch and harsh operating conditions, creating stable returns for customers across a 20-year lifecycle and fulfilling the corporate commitment of empowering full-lifecycle customer value through full-chain digital intelligence.

Leveraging the 30GWh super smart manufacturing base and proprietary core technologies, Guofeng Yuanchu’s domestic business is flourishing across standalone storage and industrial new-type storage tracks, with deep strategic cooperation and framework procurement with central SOEs, state-owned enterprises, and leading energy companies.

In overseas markets, the company pursues a global vision with deep localization, steadily advancing product and brand globalization, overcoming international certification and compliance barriers, with business covering key regions including Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, building localized overseas service networks to bring “smart manufacturing of Chinese storage” to the world stage.

04 A Premium, High-End Manufacturing Route

Wang Huimin, factory director of the Guofeng Yuanchu PACK integration plant, introduced the base’s production and quality control systems.

The base has achieved stable GWh-class mass production and delivery of storage systems, with manufacturing, quality, and operation systems verified by real projects. The storage industry is shifting from scale competition to value competition; what customers need is not a simple combination of cells and cabinets, but a 20-year safety commitment and full-lifecycle revenue assurance.

Guofeng Yuanchu adheres to a premium, high-end manufacturing route, rejecting “good enough” product standards, and builds high-end storage equipment that withstands long-term scrutiny from the market, the grid, and customers through leading processes, rigorous quality control, and efficient production lines.

05 Industry-First Full-Chain 5S Product R&D System

At the event, Yichu Shuzhi released its grand storage ecosystem strategy and the industry-first full-chain 5S product R&D system, along with two solution white papers, fully disclosing the group’s technology innovation roadmap across three dimensions — product R&D innovation, computing-energy integration, and all-domain smart energy use — to accelerate win-win cooperation in the green energy ecosystem.

Liu Rui, deputy general manager of Yichu Shuzhi and general manager of Guofeng Yuanchu, gave an in-depth interpretation of the full-chain 5S product R&D system. Built on five self-developed core modules — BMS, PCS, EMS, digital-intelligent operation platform, and 5MWh storage cabin — the system covers the full lifecycle of storage equipment from R&D design, simulation testing, intelligent manufacturing, and quality control to delivery and O&M.

Compared with traditional R&D and production models, the system achieves multiple key breakthroughs: delivery efficiency up 60%, fault tracing efficiency up 90%, battery cycle life up 15%, and charge/discharge utilization up 6%. Breaking the technical shortcomings of traditional pieced-together storage solutions, this standardized, systematized, intelligent R&D and production model builds a core quality barrier for storage products.

06 Next-Generation 5MWh Liquid-Cooled Storage Cabin Released

Building on the new R&D system, Guofeng Yuanchu launched its next-generation 5MWh liquid-cooled storage cabin — Lingyao Zhulong — breaking the operating constraints of traditional storage equipment. The product operates stably across an ultra-wide temperature range from -30°C to 55°C, adapting to harsh conditions such as 4,000-meter altitude, seismic intensity level 9, and C5-M corrosion resistance. Equipped with long-cycle high-performance cells, it achieves over 12,800 cycles with a system lifespan exceeding 20 years; with precise liquid-cooled temperature control, the cell temperature difference across the cabin is ≤3°C and comprehensive system efficiency reaches 97%. The product features a triple AI intelligent protection system that predicts potential faults 4 hours in advance, integrating intelligent temperature control, autonomous dispatch, and risk early warning — significantly reducing storage station O&M costs and reinforcing the bottom line of storage safety.

07 Two White Papers: Targeting AIDC and Smart Microgrids

Dr. Gao Zhan, chief scientist of power electronics at Yichu Shuzhi, released the AIDC Source-Grid-Load-Storage-Computing Full-Chain Energy Solution White Paper, which directly addresses the high energy consumption pain point of AI data centers, connecting the five links of source, grid, load, storage, and computing, covering the full business chain from campus planning, solution design, and system integration delivery to long-term operation, and building a complete product matrix of hardware plus platform software to provide full-lifecycle support for AIDC projects.

The group has delivered multiple AIDC demonstration projects covering three scenarios — retrofitting existing IDCs, edge AIDC, and AIDC campuses — creating replicable, standardized computing-power-energy coordination solutions.

Dr. Yi Haohao, chief scientist of Yichu Shuzhi, released the Smart Microgrid All-Scenario Solution White Paper. Upholding “one scenario, one solution,” the solution covers six scenarios: zero-carbon parks, remote areas, grid retrofits, mining conditions, computing loads, and hydrogen utilization. It supports flexible grid-connected/off-grid switching, black start and islanded power supply, efficient green power consumption, and grid terminal oscillation management, adapting to new loads such as AIDC and hydrogen production to achieve computing-power-energy coordination and efficient AC/DC integration.

The Suqian factory microgrid project and the Suqian New Energy Industrial Park computing power supply project have been put into practice, building a zero-carbon demonstration park with direct green power supply and load-energy coordination.

After the launch ceremony, guests visited the Guofeng Yuanchu PACK smart manufacturing workshop to observe the Industry 4.0 automated production line up close and learn about GWh-class mass production capability, rigorous quality control processes, and cutting-edge technology implementation.

The commissioning of the Guofeng Yuanchu PACK integrated smart manufacturing base, together with the release of the full-chain 5S R&D system and two white papers, marks the completion of Yichu Shuzhi’s full storage industry chain closed loop — core R&D, high-end smart manufacturing, scenario solutions, and on-site operation.
