Envision Signs Agreement for One of Germany's Largest Battery Energy Storage Projects
According to international media reports on June 29, Envision Group has signed a cooperation agreement with global independent power producer (IPP) Elements Green to jointly develop the Stadorf Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in northern Germany.
With a planned capacity of 400MW/1.6GWh, the Stadorf project is one of the largest battery energy storage projects currently under development in Germany.
The project will deploy Envision's latest Gen 8 energy storage system solution, featuring a four-hour storage duration, advanced battery technology, and intelligent grid integration capabilities.
As one of Germany's largest energy storage projects, the Stadorf BESS presents significant engineering, grid connection, and regulatory compliance challenges. Envision will provide a fully integrated system solution designed to meet these demanding technical requirements, helping establish a new benchmark for large-scale energy storage infrastructure in Germany and across Europe.
