7GWh! Chenergy Secures Another Major Energy Storage Deal
From July 7 to 8, 2026, Chenergy New Energy successively signed strategic cooperation agreements with TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. (TECO) and Denmark-based KK Group, securing a combined cooperation scale of 7GWh.
The agreements cover two major global markets — Europe and Southeast Asia — and focus on two key application areas: grid-scale energy storage and AI data center (AIDC) energy storage solutions.
5GWh European Energy Storage Cooperation
On July 8, Chenergy New Energy and Denmark’s KK Group signed a framework agreement for a 5GWh energy storage system project at Chenergy’s global headquarters.
The cooperation will cover the full lifecycle of European energy storage projects, including:
Project design
Product supply
On-site commissioning
Operation and maintenance support
Spare parts supply
Battery end-of-life recycling
Through this partnership, the two companies aim to establish an integrated overseas energy storage service ecosystem.
KK Group is a subsidiary of A.P. Moller Group, one of the world’s largest shipping companies, and serves as A.P. Moller’s only wholly owned renewable energy company.
2GWh DC-Side Energy Storage Order
On July 7, Chenergy New Energy and TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Chenergy’s global headquarters.
Under the agreement, the two companies will establish a long-term global strategic partnership covering:
Joint project development
Energy storage product supply
Project implementation coordination
Long-term operation and maintenance technical support
Market resource sharing
Over the next two years, Chenergy will supply 2GWh of DC-side energy storage products to TECO, providing highly reliable and high-efficiency energy storage solutions for emerging applications such as AI data centers (AIDC).
Meanwhile, both parties will focus on expanding into Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia and Thailand, accelerating the deployment of high-quality energy storage infrastructure and supporting the development of more resilient and flexible power systems in the region.
Through these strategic partnerships, Chenergy New Energy continues to expand its global energy storage footprint and contribute to the transformation of the global energy landscape.
